Supplied in this LZH file is the program STARTGEM. STARTGEM is
used to auto-start a GEM program (such as ST Whiz) for TOS 1.0 and
TOS 1.2 (TOS 1.4 has its own built in auto-start function). It is
written by R. Flashman.
To auto-start ST Whiz with STARTGEM, place STARTGEM.PRG onto the
AUTO folder of your hard drive (or floppy disk). STARTGEM.PRG
_must_ be the last program in the AUTO folder.
Also, place STARTGEM.INF onto the _root directory_ of your boot
partition. To use STARTGEM.PRG with ST Whiz without any
modifications, then you must place the files ST_WHIZ.PRG,
ST_WHIZ.RSC, and ST_WHIZ.DEF onto the root directory of drive C:
(that is, onto the path C:\).
If you want to place the ST Whiz program anywhere else (such as on
a different drive or folder), then you must modify the file
STARTGEM.INF. To do so, use a word processor/text editor that can
save in straight ASCII (such as Word Writer - using SAVE AS ASCII
option). In STARTGEM.INF, you must specify the path and the
filename of ST_WHIZ.PRG.
